Wind turbine from small motor

A small wind turbine made with things from around the house.

I found a piece of plastic tubing that fits snuggly onto the motor cog, hot glue was put into the plastic tubing before being pushed onto the motor cog. Then on the other end a nut was super glued into place and then reinforced with hot glue. A bolt then goes through the propeller and securely into the nut.

A small wooden rig was put together which holds the motor and supports the shaft between the motor and propeller. However it allows enough movement for the motor to move into a position of least resistance.

As the propeller is spun, it generates electricity which lights up the 3mm red LED.
